Business Challenge 

The communications company required a unified, future-proof system for managing subscribers and services across various network technologies: TETRA, TETRAPOL, and hybrid LTE-TETRA. The tools in use were fragmented and complex, making it challenging to onboard users (e.g., volunteers, emergency responders), manage call groups and service configurations, or securely operate across network layers. 

Thus, there was a growing need for a simplified yet powerful subscriber and service management system to replace legacy methods and support secure MVNO operations within mission-critical environments. 

Solution & Business Value 

Tietoevry Create developed a unified subscriber and service management solution to simplify operations across TETRA, TETRAPOL, and hybrid LTE-TETRA networks. Originating from a Proof of Concept developed in 2009 for user rights provisioning, the platform evolved into a full-scale product, supporting user and organization management, service provisioning, and secure MNVO operations.  

A later addition, the radio network visibility dashboard, provided real-time graphical insights into network load and availability. Developed by a cross-functional team with specialists from the Nordics and Poland, the solution is now deployed globally. Tietoevry Create is responsible for full R&D and lifecycle responsibilities, including support, maintenance, and onboarding.
