The challenge
ÖAMTC aimed to provide its employees with a secure way to test the new GPT technology in a protected environment. This was enabled through introducing a highly efficient and secure AI solution that allows effective text generation by prompting. A key step in this process was to train employees on how to effectively use GPT technology, empowering them to fully integrate it into their daily work.
The solution
As a long-standing service partner, Tietoevry provided a fitting solution in the form of a high-performance, AI-powered webchat. Thanks to Microsoft Azure OpenAI technology, comprehensive data security is guaranteed, along with scalability for future use cases and tailored, GPT-enabled business applications.
In workshops led by Tietoevry experts, ÖAMTC employees learned the correct prompt engineering techniques, meaning how to interact with GPT to obtain the most useful chat results or responses. Prompt engineering, or prompting, refers to the interaction between users and GPT using natural language. Correct phrasing is crucial; otherwise, there’s a risk of receiving irrelevant or invalid responses.
Through effective prompting, ÖAMTC employees can harness the productivity benefits of GPT technology every day. Additionally, continuous use will uncover new use cases and applications for ÖAMTC.
About the customer
ÖAMTC, an economically and politically independent organization, is Austria's largest mobility club and actively participates in a global network of mobility clubs. ÖAMTC provides services for 2.4 million members, acting as a point of contact for all mobility-related questions - both in everyday life and in emergencies - while advocating for the interests of its members. With this mission, about 4,000 employees are dedicated to serving people and mobility.
