The challenge
With all the ministries and institutions of the government and around 70,000 employees as customers, it is essential that the process runs as smoothly as possible.
Product support for the SAP-based core financial management system was coming to an end. The new SAP S/4HANA system had to be implemented within a tight timeframe, constrained, for example, by the schedule of state's upcoming extended financial statements. The project also had dependencies on other planned system upgrades for central accounting, human resources, and reporting.
A central part of the system renewal was the SAP S/4HANA compliant production environment, which had to meet the required security classifications. Its full deployment in record time was a critical success factor for the entire project.
The solution
Valtori wanted to ensure uninterrupted service and quality delivery to Palkeet. The successful team consisted of Tietoevry Tech Services experts. In less than two months, the mission-critical, SAP S/4HANA-compliant, security-rated environment was fully operational.
The project was implemented in close cooperation with Valtori and Palkeet in a multi-vendor environment.
