The labor market unit of Timrå Municipality had identified a need to streamline their case processing, while also being able to safely communicate with co-workers and county citizens. They wanted to update its current system to a more user-friendly one, while encouraging the participation of its county citizens.
Lifecare is an efficient and simple tool that cuts down on processing for case managers, giving them more valuable time to spend with people. By implementing it in the labor market unit, Timrå county now has a practical solution with a modern layout and efficient functionality.
Because it is a web-based system, Lifecare enables co-workers to not only be flexible, but mobile as well. The system is also compatible with previous versions, allowing for a seamless and gradual transition. Another great advantage is that co-workers can now safely communicate with each other, as well as with citizens in the same digital environment.
Timrå Municupality is located on the Swedish east coast between Härnösand and Sundsvall. Today, the town population is around 18,000 but is expected to grow. The vision for 2025 is “Timrå - a strong municipality in a growing region!”. To reach this goal, a select number of focus areas have been identified, for example “service professionals” and “motivated co workers”.
With this modern and easy-to-use solution, efficiency and productivity is increased while also enabling self-services.
By digitizing services, it’s possible to make staff available elsewhere, like working towards better service and more in-person meetings with people.
Thanks to different functions enabling safe and smooth communications, it’s easy to maintain a dialogue with both co-workers and citizens.
