Celebrating 10 years of Startup Refugees by supporting the next generation of entrepreneurs

The Startup Refugees Business Grant provides funding for 3 to 5 entrepreneurs with an immigrant background to establish or grow their business in Finland. Previously, the grant was mainly offered to participants who had completed Startup Refugees’ entrepreneurship course. In 2025, the opportunity has been broadened to include all refugee and migrant entrepreneurs who have been in Finland for less than ten years. By expanding eligibility, we aim to support more innovative ideas, diverse voices, and entrepreneurial mindset.

Applications for the fund will be open from 5 to 30 September 2025, with winners being announced by the end of October 2025.
