TIPS EUDR provides traceability from input to output

The European Union regulation on Deforestation-free Products (EUDR) will come into effect on 30 December 2025 for large and medium-sized companies, and on 30 June 2026 for micro and small enterprises.

What does this mean for pulp, paper and board mills?
This regulation requires that any operator or trader placing, or making available these commodities on the EU market, or exporting them from it, must demonstrate that the products do not originate from recently deforested land and have not contributed to forest degradation. For paper mills, this means they need to verify their supply chain for compliance with this regulation.

TIPS covers the EUDR requirements now and in the future
TIPS EUDR is a new module in our TIPS standard product portfolio and is already in use. It is designed to be configurable to handle different methodologies of customer compliance. No changes are needed to the existing TIPS modules because TIPS EUDR adapters bolt on and fetch the data for the APIs (Application Programming  Interface).  
 
The development of the module will continue along with EUDR legislation and customers' requirements. Subscription-based licensing guarantees easy onboarding.
