What Does EUDR Mean for the Paper Industry?
For mills which use any virgin fibre in their pulp recipes and import to EU, export from EU, or domestically produce in the EU, the regulation requires that the products sold do not originate from recently deforested land or contribute to forest degradation. For board, paper, pulp, tissue, and nonwoven mills, this means they must implement systems to verify their supply chain to ensure compliance before the December 30 deadline.
A Solution That Meets All EUDR Requirements
After some general discussion about the EUDR, David Wojciechowski from Tietoevry will present the TIPS (MES) EUDR, a new module in our TIPS standard product portfolio, which is already in use by our customers. "Standard APIs can integrate with any ERP or MES system (you don't need to be a current Tietoevry MES customer). The solution covers the necessary requirements, and a subscription-based licensing guarantees easy onboarding,” says David.
