Generative AI is empowering the capabilities of HR platforms. On the SAP SuccessFactors platforms we typically have three main areas where AI is in the focus:

Joule improves the employee experience by making it easier and faster for employees to find information, get answers to questions and complete HR-related tasks.

This is an AI-powered engine for an organization’s entire learning and talent strategy. Embedded in SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite, it creates a skills portfolio for each employee in the workforce.

Let’s have a look at Generative AI capabilities in SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting

The integration of AI in the SAP SuccessFactors recruiting process brings more process efficiency, accuracy, and data-driven insights, enabling organizations to identify and hire top talent more effectively.

  1. Job position creation:
    In SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting dashboard, Manager can identify the critical skills gap and create required position by using data insights. With the help of Joule the position will be created after respective workflow approval. This makes complex process easy and reduces manual work with automation.

  2. Job description generation:
    Recruiters (hiring managers) can enhance and generate job descriptions using generative AI capabilities. Once a recruiter approves the job requisition request on SAP start, recruiter will take an immediate action to proceed with the next steps on the job requisition details, under the job description section. Recruiter will click on the enhance button and both the original version and the AI-enhanced version of the job description will be displayed. Recruiter can make necessary modifications and click on the accept button. 
  3. Interview reminder and preparation:
    With the SAP SuccessFactors and Microsoft Teams integration, interviewers will now receive a Teams notification 24 hours before their scheduled interview. To remind them and help them prepare with an overview of the candidate’s profile, skills preview, and competencies needed for the role, and provide generative AI-recommended interview questions based on the role. This is providing recruiter with valuable support and guidance for upcoming interviews.

  4. Interview assessment:
    SAP SuccessFactors and Microsoft Teams integration brings even more opportunities. For example, once the interview is complete, interviewers can quickly provide their evaluation and skills assessments of the applicant in Microsoft Teams. Direct integration allows data within Microsoft Teams to be synchronized to SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting in real time, ensuring the candidate review is up to the date and more accurate. These new features help to timely completion of assessments and accelerate the candidate process, and enable interviewers to efficiently prepare and evaluate candidates quickly, without a need to leave the tools (Teams) they are working in.
