Release Highlights

3.10 release focuses mainly on introducing support for the new Elasticsearch Java API Client for all i3 services. This switch allows us to support new Elasticsearch releases in the future as the previous client was in the process of deprecation and also with this change we are decoupling our services from the Elasticsearch server code. Apart of client changes we've also introduced changes to our Docker images that will allow changes to the JVM parameters used to launch the service (JAVA_TOOL_OPTIONS environment variable).

Improvements

  • [FP-374] Review JVM parameters within services entrypoint
  • [FP-339] As a developer, I can format my code using the team's settings
  • [FP-315] As a consultant, I can use Elasticsearch java client with i3

Removals

  • None
