Tietoevry has recently implemented a first of its kind ''Employee Union Management System'' for a Nordic Telecom Company. Previously, the customer had been using MS Excel for many years, in planning the matching of employees with open positions. The new application Tietoevry envisioned provides an interface for HR Partners to plan employees and unfilled positions in Workday for their assigned organizations. Thanks to the new Workday Extend application, customer improved efficiency, while seamlessly leveraging Workday’s security capabilities as the HR Partners have restricted visibility over the teams that they are not directly supporting. It made Workday customer´s primary source of data regarding the employee union management. This transition enabled the customer to maintain consistent data across supervisory organisations, without the need to maintain Excel sheet updates outside of Workday.
